Unfortunately Tasmania will not be able to send a candidate in 2013 as it is our turn to miss out.

Riders who will be of the correct age in 2 years time are also encouraged to apply now, providing you have your  'B' Certificate and can fulful all the requirements.

Please read pages 6.1, 6.2 and 6.3 of the Handbook for more information.

Please complete form 11.6.1 found in the Forms section of the Handbook

Nominations close on the 15th November with selection of the team member on the 4th December.

The venue for selection will depend on the area the majority of the candidates live.

The following is the invitation received from New Zealand, and the only information we have at this staget.

"It is with great pleasure that the New Zealand Pony Clubs Association Inc. extends an invitation to attend the 25th Inter-Pacific Exchange Rally (50 years) to be held 1st May to 15th May, 2011.

You are invited to send a team of four riders, one Coach and one Team Manager. Teams will arrive at the Christchurch Airport by 1st May and depart from the Auckland Airport on 15th May. We have an exciting itinerary planned to celebrate the 25th Exchange (50 years) and details will be sent to each country in due course. Christchurch is situated in the South Island where the teams will spend a week sightseeing and participating in the scrambled teams’ event at McLeans Island (a local equestrian park). The second week will be spent in the North Island, also sightseeing and experiencing some Maori Culture in Rotorua culminating with the Nations Cup at the Kihikihi Equestrian Park followed by a formal dinner.
